Calling all sporty people!

For today’s post, i thought i’d add a little bit of the science behind why fulvic acid supplements are soooooo good if you play a lot of sport. Well, firstly, we have to look at the reason why we ‘run out of puff’ when we are training. This reason is that carbon dioxide (CO2) builds up the muscle cells and when this build up is occurring in greater quantities than the oxygen we are trying hard to breathe in, the cells become overrun with CO2 and they stop working. This forces us to stop exercising and breathe in deeply until the oxygen has returned to the cells. However, as fulvic acid is approximately 45% oxygen, taking fulvic acid containing supplements, can allow you to exercise for longer as if you have built up fulvic acid in your cells prior to exercise, the cells will be rich in oxygen and the effects of carbon dioxide build up will be less. This will not only allow you to train for longer but because your oxygen debt will have been reduced, you will recover quicker too!

I’ve not finished there…

Anyone found that if they dont exercise for a long time and then start up again that they wake up with sore muscles the next day? Well fulvic acid can help that too. You see, the reason for this is that lactic acid builds up during exercise in the absence of oxygen and if it isn’t removed sufficiently (and it’s very difficult to get rid of all of it), then it will accumulate in the muscles and cause stiffness. But, because it only builds up in the absence of oxygen, ensuring high levels of oxygen rich fulvic acid are in your muscle cells will prevent its build up and thus prevent sore mucles the next day! Hooray!

Hope all that made sense as i tend to waffle on a bit. Bye for now.
